East West Bancorp Declares Second Quarter 2007 Dividend

Pasadena, CA - April 17, 2007 - East West Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: EWBC), parent company of East West Bank, one of the nation's premier community banks, today announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly common stock cash dividend of $0.10 per share for the second quarter of 2007. The dividend will be payable on or about May 15, 2007 to shareholders of record on May 1, 2007.
